Galloway Glass was established as a
company in 1989 by designer and glass engraver Frances McCallum. From the first studios near the small village
of Beeswing in South West Scotland the Galloway Glass team worked together to design, engrave,
pack and ship each order received from many customers around the world.
In 2005 the business was sold to the established and successful
wine and spirit business of T.B. Watson, whose Karen Gibson was already a major customer of Galloway Glass, providing
personalised wines and spirits for events, anniversaries and celebrations. Karen continues both her own tradition of printed
labels for personalised wines and spirits and the Galloway Glass engraved crystal and glass service. The company prides
itself on its customer service, attention to detail, and in particular, its wide choice of malt whiskies, including many
limited editions, collectors items and ceramics.
Spirit
of Galloway, a relatively new branch of T. B. Watsons situated in
Castle Douglas in the South West of Scotland, is proving popular
with locals and tourists alike. The shop boasts a spectacular array
of around 800 malt whiskies, including at least 10 different bottlings
of our local malt whisky 'Bladnoch' along with wide choice of other
spirits & liqueurs from around the world.
